While many smaller sites do use fake profiles to appear to have more real members than they actually do, the major online dating sites like Match.com do not – at least in my experience. The reason is because the larger online dating sites do not need to use fake profiles because they have enough real members. lets just say most of the online dating websites use fake profiles..even those sites that look very legit and are advertised on tv ect but its in no way illegal because its all stated in the tos that you agree to when joining. don’t get the wrong impression though, tons of people still hook up using these sites
