Disagree. It is just another method of mingling with people. It’s the new age dating. No one is desperate just because they chat with people on line. My bestfriend met her husband online. He’s a great man. I don’t consider her desperate, just lucky.

I don’t agree or disagree completely.
Personally, i think that dating website are very dangerous because obvioulsy you don’t know the kind of people that are on it, however sometimes people use them because they have a hard time finding people to relate to in their communites and need to branch out a little bit. But mostly, i think people should just meet people the old fashioned way. It’s much safer and not as risky.

Do you think you have a life if you go ‘Trolling’ for *** at a club? Dating websites are a great way of screening people. You save gas money and you can find someone who is visual appealing and communicate with them without having to physically meet them until your ready. I’ve never used one but I have met someone after chatting with them online. It’s all good, just be true to yourself. Also, don’t be a ***** then expect people not to regard you in that manner. Peace.

Well, I disagree overall to your statement, Sometimes it’s a matter of having too busy of a life to try to spend time and energy going out to find your match by hopefully running across them in a nightclub or the supermarket or wherever. There is no way you could possibly meet that many people other than websites directly related to dating or *** or marriage or whatever it is. The people on these sites are looking also. That cuts down the odds that your going to find someone interesting only to find that they are involved with someone already. Are there problems with such sites…You bet, there are fakes and “Cam-Girls” and phishers and just plain old creepy folks there. you do your research and play your cards and personal information close to your vest and you should be alright.

Despite the media, the same numbers of creeps and losers you find online is the same as out in “the real world” or offline. Whenever you first meet someone, unless they’re a friend of a friend, you usually don’t know anything about them–you start from the bottom and have to work up. For instance, that guy/girl you see at the coffee shop, bar, where ever, you don’t know at first glance, it’s the same thing meeting someone online. You don’t know what you’ll get! The person could be a complete loser or a good catch!
I don’t think it’s as taboo as it was 10, or even 5 years ago. Think about this, when you see couples out and about, you have no idea how they met. For all you know, they could’ve met online, and I’m sure they love each other just the same.

I met my boyfriend on
It took about a month, and he showed interest in me. I registered for a lot of different ones, and didn’t like most. This one is the best so far, and the best thing is it is free!

they can be alright I guess. Be careful of people that only post head shots and not full body pics. They could be hiding their weight

I think you are wrong. I found the love of my life online. I work a lot and don’t have time to go out and find someone. It makes it really easy and I don’t have the same guys that you would find in a bar. I don’t drink and will not date someone from work, so It was the best thing for me. Try it before you make judgments.
