Lonnie Thompson will be speaking at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the University of Charleston’s Speaker Series sponsored by Dow Chemical Co. His concept will be “Global warming and the history of ice: a record from the world’s highest mountains.” A question-and-answer session will follow his lecture.
